Paolo Bisogni

Born in Milano in 1963, Paolo Bisogni holds a degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano. He worked for a leading Third Party Logistic Service Provider, first as a Business Analyst, then as Operations Manager, IT and Special Projects Manager and later General Manager. He led logistics and Manufacturing & Materials Management productivity enhancement projects for companies such as Black&Decker, Hasbro, Gillette and Hewlett-Packard. In the spring of 2000 he founded Sogenet, a management consulting firm specialized in the design of innovative Supply Chain Management projects and solutions of which he holds the position of CEO. In the past ten years he dedicated most of his professional activity to Hospitals and Healthcare Logistics. He has been a member of the Board of AILOG, the Italian professional Association of Logistics and Supply Chain Management for the past 12 years. On December 12, 2011 he was elected Chairman of the Board of the Association. He is contract professor of International Operations Management at Catholic University, Piacenza Campus and ALTIS, the Postgraduate School Business and Society. He is Visiting Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the MBA of University Transylvania in Brasov, Romania.
